First day of the month means theme day for the City Daily Photo Community. The October theme is Contrast. I choose this photo when Kenzo 'planted a field' of 200,000 red paper poppies in front of the Place du Capitole in Toulouse, on Friday September 4th. The poppies were remained until the following day, and had been given away to passers-by. The event is in honor of their poppy-inspired fragrance, Flower by Kenzo. There is a contrast here, poppies are grows on the prairie, in the country side, not in the middle of buildings. The red color of artificial poppies are somehow contrast with the brick color of toulouse buildings.

My goodness, now that's a contrast. You don't realise they are poppies until you see the second photo and of course read your commentary. How utterly amazing and fabulous! Good to see you.
